I am currently undergoing a project in my boys' room with different pieces of canvas - this fabulous canvas tutorial from Corner House gave me the little fire I needed to finish the project.
The branch and birds were free hand painted, but it's not as hard as you might think.
I love the modern feel, while still feeling cozy and the colors are awesome!

oh - I wish this were my house.
The blogger said they were an old pair of lamps that she had and then painted them aqua.
