Balancing Act - The life of a Mom(prenuer)

I have a struggle that I think most Mom's have.
Balancing everything.  And I have realized that I can't achieve everything I want to right now.
Slowly I can, but not all at once, and not all right now.

I told my husband.  I wish there were like four of me.  The business me, the Mom me, and the me that lives in NYC and all I do is shop and go to the spa, and the me that would love to go to law school.  But there is only one me - so my life is a balancing act.

I have a bunch of new products that I want to launch and start and at the same time I have all these goals as a mom and things I want to do and see and go with my kids - Thanks to my mother who runs the business, I do have time for my family!!
But I can't even seem to find time to design the products, let along launch them - but I have learned that, that is OK.  patience, patience.

So I named this tree the 'Cheery Tree' and I think it get confused with a 'Cherry Tree'.  I guess now I have to design a Cherry Tree, so everyone doesn't think I don't know how to spell Cherry :)

Berkley's First Birthday - Princess Theme

I can't believe I never posted about my daughters First Birthday!  I guess thats what happens when - between Halloween and Christmas there are two of my children's birthdays, 5 family birthdays and of course Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I had so much fun putting this party together.  I wasn't sure on the theme at first, but I of course ended up doing the whole princess thing :)

My friend made this adorable hat - the cutest party hat I have ever seen.

The candy jars were the funnest thing to plan and put together.

This cake was a 2 AM disaster, but I think it ended up looking OK in the end - not what I had envisioned though :)

 

I got the idea from a local cupcake shop to add the tiara's to the cupcake frosting tops - ADORABLE!

This outfit inspired the colors for the party.
