The Fanny Pack is Back
I remember going to Disneyland in the 80s when I was about 7 years old. I bought a brand new outfit from GAP - I had saved up all of my money and bought the most hideous neon plaid shorts and neon green shirt - and I LOVED them. But most of all I loved my fanny pack. And although practical, especially when you are on vacation - (because who wants to lug a purse around the city) - I haven't been able to get myself to ever wear one since. Until . . . .
I found Kinies - based out of Malaysia.
How adorable are these!
And they are called Waist Purses - not fanny packs :)
She also had an adorable bow purse I would love to have!
Check out everything in her shop HERE

Giving Back
I have always loved giving back. Saying thank you for what I have been blessed with by giving to others.
At Janey Mac we have done some small things here and there - donated to schools auctions, etc.
But our latest project is my favorite so far, and I hope that we are able to continue to grow and expand our charitable efforts. I have big plans for the future of how Janey Mac will give back to the community, but we'll wait till that's a little more organized.
Today we are headed to
Women's and Childrens Alliance in Boise.
We are recreating this tree in a 7 foot tall size for their conference room wall, along with some Children's quotes, for another wall.
I will take pictures and update you with all the fun details of installation.

A Berry Birthday
A picnic party is the perfect theme for summer, and this one just happens to be the cutest one of all.
That lemonade looks divine.

H&M Fashion Tips!
Find inspiration in frontier fashion – ponchos, blanket wraps and tribal prints.
1. Coral corral
Round up all the latest trends in one easy look! First, go head-to-toe in this season’s hottest shade – coral. Then add a little western touch with a pair of strappy brown suede heels. Yee-haw!
2. Poncho party
Festival, BBQ, beach or pavement patio, you can throw a poncho over any outfit this summer and look effortlessly stylish. But it can also be the star attraction – especially when it sports fetching stripes!
3. It’s a wrap!
The blanket wrap is a perfect companion to summer dresses, day or night. We like ones with a fetching Navajo-inspired print to layer over a solid colour or clash against other prints.

4. Print power
Tribal prints can be fierce and pretty when placed on a draped dress. Don a pair of embellished flat sandals for a more casual, but cool look. Beachy, wavy hair is an added bonus.
