Paper n Stitch - Three minute art prject

We featured our product on Paper n Stitch's site this last month. I absolutely love her blog. She covers all aspects from improving your business, to decorating, to organizing to craft projects. Being a super busy person myself I thought I would add a link to her Three Minute Art Project.


The projects I usually work on have to be quick b/c I am already on to the next thing. Like hanging picture, I will spend about 30 seconds deciding on where it goes and if it is lined up. I think this drives my husband up the wall, he is more of a perfectionist - which bring us to our perfect balance :)

This is a customer photo of their vinyl Square Scallop Monogram. This is our most popular monogram. The scallop on the outside edge of the square is kind of hard to see in this photo, but it adds such a dainty touch.

Halloween Vinyl Wall Decal - Bats Sleeping

I know it's not quite October yet, but I love this holiday season we have coming up. The weather is cooling off and I just love this time of year.


I wanted to design a classic looking Halloween decal. I love the sleeping bats, so creepy but simple. And I love this font for the Happy Halloween text.

New Vinyl Design - Floral Wall Pack

I have been wanting to design a floral wall pack for months now, I just have never had time to get around to it. I finally got it finished this week!


I love the idea of layering a bunch of different colors and designs. These colors are so bright and fun.

New Vinyl Design - Ornate Frame with Birds

I am really liking iron scroll work lately. I love the wrought iron look, so my inspiration started there for this new design - Ornate Frame with Birds.


The Birds are done in our new "lipstick" color.

I think I love this customer photo so much because I am in love with the color combo of Ice Blue and Orange right now. I wanted my son's bedroom to be these colors, but after searching for bedding, etc with no luck, I settled on blue and burnt orange.

New Vinyl Colors - Geared towards interior design!

I am so excited to be getting in our new vinyl colors! 14 new colors will be on my doorstep tomorrow afternoon. The vinyl company I order from created these colors because of the demand for more interior based colors from vinyl companies like our (it's about time!).


I am not sure if I will add all 14 to our color palette, but probably most of them :) I am especially excited for olive green, I have had a lot of requests for this color, and now we have it! I will be doing up a lot of our new designs in these new colors, so check back in the next couple of weeks as we post some here and add them to our store.

New Vinyl Dandelion Design

So as you all know I am on my "working vacation". My intent is to design some new product and finish a few things up like catalogs, media kits etc. So far all I have really been able to do is get caught up on orders. But I was able to sneak in one new design so far. This was an easy one though, I really like our blowing dandelion decals and our different "block" decals and they are both great sellers, so I decided to combine the two concepts. This week I want to get my creative juices flowing and come up with some completely NEW stuff. I have random pages, and sticky notes of ideas all strewn about my office and house - Time to get ORGANIZED! But sometimes the simple designs are the ones I like the best.

I recently finished this custom design for a customer and I love the way it turned out. She wanted it to match her Bananafish Love Bird bedding set.

New Color for Our Vinyl Sticker Decals - Aqua

We have added a color to our color palette.
We are introducing Aqua.

This color is really pretty.
It looks really good with our Ice Blue and Cream color. Makes me want to redo a room in those colors. so cheery and relaxing.

Customer Request

I just had a request for our surfer decal to be turned into a growth chart - so we are now going to feature it in our shop as a new decal. The best inspiration is a customer request. Retail is $30.00.
We now also offer our growth charts in cm measurement (metric system). And of course we have a girl surfer too.

One of my All Time Favorites

I designed this vinyl decal for my second son when he was born. I had it over his crib in his nursery, and I loved it.

Here's a close up of it in a different setting. I have had customers order this decal in a small size and frame them and use as artwork.

Kaden's Corner

We recently moved our youngest son in with our other son. So we refer to his part of the bedroom as "Kaden's Corner".


Jackson has his own customized vinyl name with cars to match his bedding/side of the room - But for Kaden I wanted to keep his name simple, I really like the way it turned out.

Nursery Sneak Peak

After two boys we are having a GIRL! Not till next month, but I am starting to get the nursery ready. For now we have to share a room with the baby till we move to a bigger house next year, so it's not my dream nursery, but I think I can get it pretty close :)
Instead of a mobile - since I could never find one I like for my boys, I opted for these pom pom balls, and I love them.


I also want to incorporate some of the decor that I had in my room growing up:

America's Got Talent

The funnest thing I've been watching this summer has been America's Got Talent. So far I've been pulling for the chicken farmer from Kentucky, Kevin Skinner. If you haven't been watching, it's not too late to get hooked on the show. Kevin has already made it to the finals. Tonight is the last night of the remaining semi-finalist's. There are some incredible acts and it will be hard to choose a favorite. But I'm hoping the chicken farmer makes it all the way to the end.

Shopping the Gold Country, Murphys

Shopping in the gold country of California is a boutique lover's dream. Starting in Jamestown, all the way up to Nevada City, you will find one original gold rush town after another and each has it own unique look and feel. And many of the old buildings have darling boutique shops in them. They range from clothing to anitques to art galleries. And of course fabulous restaraunts, ice cream shops and candy stores. The last 3 photos is of Pizzazz located in Murphys, owned by Melissa Ninos. Melissa came to the gold country about 10 years ago. They opened Pizzazz 9 years ago and they also own the Victoria Inn in Murphys which has a fabulous restaraunt call V as in Victor for her husband that runs it. Also pictured above is Moon Allie also located in Murphys. Candice (pictured above) is making candles for Moon Allie in an original process developed by Brook the owner. Also pictured above is Country Flower Hutch owned by Kathy Kurgan (pictured above) she designs beatutiful arrangments, here she is working on wedding bouquet.
