I know that sounds bratty, and I am grateful for all the nice homes I have lived in over the years, but what I have always longed for is an old farmhouse on some acreage - maybe someday :)
Painted concrete floors would be fun too, maybe I can do that in my basement!

my husband and i are in the process of trying to buy a 250 year old farmhouse with some acreage. i'll let you know if we get, and then maybe you can live vicariously through me.
